At Palestine Society, our main goal is to introduce the beauty of Palestinian culture to whoever is interested, as well as to create a familiar space for Palestinian students at UAL. We are passionate about introducing Palestinian art, food, clothing and literature!
Palestine has a rich history, and Palestinian art is deeply symbolic, giving us plenty to explore and discuss together. We are keen to learn from the Palestinian artistic and cultural legacy and its contemporary relevance. At a time when it is threatened by the tragic wartime destruction of artistic and cultural sites in Palestine, it is more relevant to avoid the under-representation of Palestinian art. We believe it is our collective responsibility to help keep its legacy alive. Palestinian art is beautiful and we look forward to creating a space to amplify the voices of Palestinian artists and their art at UAL.
