Join us for a fun evening of Cheese & Wine tasting hosted by Arts SU and UAL's Post-Grad Community to welcome new post-graduate students! There will be FREE cheese and a glass of wine to all ticket holders, with vegan and non-alcoholic options available. So get your guessing hat on and see if you can figure out where the cheese and wine are from.
There will also be a Zine Making workshop to get crafty, and the launch of Postgrad Select, an exhibition showcasing postgraduate student works.
You will get to meet fellow creatives from across UAL and mingle with students, professional networks and LCC Departments. It's the perfect opportunity to spark new connections.
The Postgrad Selects will be a selection of artworks by UAL Post-Graduate students which will be on display in the wide corridor leading to the Dark Room Bar. The exhibition will run from 24th September - 18th October 2024. (Co-curated by LCC Officer, Yvonne Yuan).
We will also be hosting a Zine Making workshop where you can learn the basics of how how to make Zine and explore themes around cultural food-combinations from across the world.
So come and join us in the Darkroom Bar to hear more about your Post-Grad Community platform and how to access opportunities to share your work, find opportunities, and connect with UAL’s wider creative network.
Schedule:
4pm: New London College of Communication students arrive and receive a welcome from the Post-Grad Community team and other LCC departments.
4.30pm: The event opens to other UAL postgrad students

To find the Seminar Room LCF Eastbank you will need to go through the barriers and take the lift to Level 1 where seminar Room 117 is located near the lifts.
On the door there will be a welcome desk where you can sign-in with a member of the team.
