Celebrating Disability History Month:
Assistive Tech for all
Assistive Technology (AT) is a term frequently used for software and apps that facilitate access to information and communication to disabled and neurodivergent people. Most of these apps can also be used to increase productivity and study smarter.
Content
In this workshop you will learn what is Assistive Technology and try some tools that free and available to you at UAL.
Experience how Assistive Tech can help you:
- Improving focus when reading on screen.
- Improving your spelling and vocabulary.
- Reading text out loud in English and in other languages.
The workshop runs form 2:30-3:30 pm . There will be opportunities to ask questions during the session, you are also welcome to join us for Q&As between 2:00- 2:30pm and 3:30-4:00 pm.
Requirements
**Please bring your laptop or borrow one from the Library or Learning Zone before the session.
