Calling all Artists!

The Other Art Fair is a global collection of revolutionary art fairs for boundary-pushing independent artists and unforgettable experiences.

Alongside the regular open call for exhibitors, The Other Art Fair have launched the New Futures program. This program is for first time exhibiting artists and aims to support emerging creatives as part of The Other Art Fair’s continued mission to break down traditional barriers of the contemporary art world.

Each recipient is awarded a free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair along with access to opportunities designed to jump-start their career.

Learn more about the program and eligibility here: New Futures Programme Details

The Other Art Fair is taking place from 6-9 March 2025.

The deadline to apply for the New Futures award is 2 January 2025. Apply here: New Futures Application Form

If a current UAL student is awarded the New Futures award for 2025, then the Arts SU have committed to support that student. This support can take the form of advice and guidance in the run up to the fair in March, as well as financial support to ensure we can reduce as many financial barriers to students as possible.

We think this would be an incredible opportunity for UAL students nearing their end of their studies and looking at the next steps of their career path.

Apply now and don’t miss your chance to start your creative career!

International Students:

Unfortunately, due to government restrictions, we cannot support international students to sell their work for their own income as this would be classed as ‘self-employment’. Self-employment is currently restricted under the visa conditions for those on Student Route Visas (previously named Teir 4 visas). These conditions are set by the UK Government, and ignoring them could mean that your visa is revoked. If you’d like to help change this, there are many campaigns calling on the government to reconsider these and other restrictions; please visit Inter.work, created by UAL alumni Barbra Hernandes, to find out more.
