Overview

Each year, Freelands Foundation invite every higher education institution offering an undergraduate course in either Fine Art or Painting to nominate a final-year student for the prize and present three works representative of their practice; either paintings or works exploring painting in the expanded field. The prize culminates in an annual exhibition of works by the winning artists.
