About Ged:
✨Typographer, lettering artist and sign-painter Ged Palmer was at the forefront of the traditional sign-craft revival around 10 years ago, under the guise of his company, Luminor Signs. In many parts of London, this exquisite work stood out, vibrant and proud on shop fronts, amongst a sea of bland cut-vinyl, generic clip-art and Helvetica.
🖌️ For a time, Luminor operated from a walk-in shop-cum-museum in East London, where Ged dealt with both general public and high-end clients, made signs and trained apprentices, using traditional techniques alongside digital design technology. Ged is passionate about what he does and apart from being highly skilled and having an excellent design eye, he's also an inspiring teacher and these days travels the world giving instruction to eager students in traditional sign-craft and lettering, some of whom have gone on to have successful careers in their own right.
