The National Union for Students (NUS) have put together their 'Manifesto for our Future', following a series of workshops and events with Sabbatical Officers across the UK - including our own current LCC Officer, Sophia Nasif, and Union Affairs Officer, Daniela Commey, who fed directly into this campaign.

The manifesto outlines what students need and want from a future government following the upcoming General Election, including improving policies around investing in education, student housing, safe campuses, mental health and more.

The NUS have now officially launched their manifesto in the House of Commons last month with MPs and representatives from Student Unions and universities from across the UK. LCC Officer Sophia Nasif attended the launch, as the current Sabbatical Officer lead for UK Elections.
