It is with great sadness that we received the news of the sudden death on 10 June 2022 of Professor David Crow.
David was a dedicated Head of College for Chelsea, Camberwell, and Wimbledon (CCW) since 2016, and we feel a great loss for the communities that David was part of and cherished by. He was an educator, always making the effort to platform student or staff work where possible, whether in his books or elsewhere. He was a graphic designer, with his work still referenced and regarded highly by the graphic design community. Most of all, he was a true friend and colleague to us all at the Students’ Union, who have had the honour to work closely with David to support the student experience at CCW. Sabbatical Officers, past and present, mourn his loss and celebrate his work, both within UAL and otherwise. We strive to keep his memory and work alive in our pursuit of excellence within higher education.
The University has made available condolence books at the main reception desks at Camberwell’s Peckham Road and Wilson Road sites, Chelsea’s Millbank site and Wimbledon’s Merton Hall Road site. An online condolence page has also been set up and we encourage those who wish to contribute.
