Do you have what it takes to represent UAL on University Challenge? We want to hear from you!
Are you a quizzing mastermind? Know lots of things about lots of subjects? We want to hear from you! We're so excited to announce that we're looking for students who want to join UAL's team on the next series of University Challenge.
What is University Challenge?
Hosted by Amol Rajan on BBC 2, University Challenge is TV's toughest quiz tournament. Teams of university students from institutions from across the UK compete to answer questions against the clock, to prove they know their stuff and to bring pride to their university. There's teams competing from all over the UK, and next year, we want to be one of them!
Have we ever appeared on University Challenge?
According to our (very official) research, UAL has only ever appeared on University Challenge once, in 2010. We were defeated by Imperial, but we know we've got what it takes to get to the final!
Who are we looking for?
We're searching for five registered students at University of the Arts London (UAL) - four team members with one chosen as captain, with a reserve team member. The ideal team:
- Will know a lot, collectively, about a lot of subjects!
- Are quick and confident on the buzzer.
- Work well together during conferred questions (questions where you can discuss before giving a final answer), led by a strong captain.
- Are engaging and fun to watch together as you play!
You'll need to be a registered UAL student throughout the filming process, too.
What questions are asked on University Challenge?
