The Cass Art Prize 2025: Apply Now for Your Chance to Win Big – Free with Arts SU!

The Cass Art Prize 2025 is now open for submissions, offering artists across the UK and the Republic of Ireland the chance to showcase their work, gain incredible exposure, and win up to £10,000 in prizes. With categories ranging from oil and watercolour to mixed media and 3D artwork, this is an opportunity not to be missed. And this year, UAL students can apply for free with reimbursement for entry fees.

Entering The Cass Art Prize gives you the chance to shine on a prestigious platform! One lucky winner will take home a £10,000 cash prize and a free stand at The Other Art Fair in spring 2026, alongside other fantastic prizes, including the Students Award, Art Educators Award, and multiple category awards.

Arts SU is making it easier for UAL students to take part by covering your entry fees – all you need to do is submit your work and we’ll reimburse your costs. But don’t wait too long: the submission deadline for reimbursements is midday 13th of May 2025, and spaces for reimbursements are limited.

Why Should You Apply?

This is not just about submitting your artwork - it’s an opportunity to gain national recognition, expand your professional network, and possibly even kickstart your career. The Cass Art Prize celebrates all forms of analogue art, and the competition’s impressive panel of judges are looking for creativity, technical skill, and originality.

This years panel includes Artist David Mach, Founding Director of Soho Revue India Rose James, Artist Ishbel Myerscough, Artist Michaela Yearwood-Dan, Artist & Director of The Bomb Factory Pallas Citroen, Curator, Cultural Producer and TV Personality Ryan Lanji, and Times Radio Arts & Culture Producer Tim Allen.

Whether you’re submitting paintings, drawings, 3D works, or mixed media, this is your chance to showcase your artistic identity and gain feedback from some of the most respected figures in the art world. Plus, with categories like the Judge’s New Talent Award – a Solo Show at Soho Revue and the Emerging Artist Award for those under 35, there are plenty of opportunities to be recognised for your unique style and talent.
