We loved spending Palentine’s Day with you!

This year the SU Advice Service celebrated Palentine’s Day again – the day of celebrating our platonic friendships. UAL students from different courses, colleges, and countries joined the SU Advice Team and our magical SU colleagues who helped to deliver our stalls and the main event.

The bigger the better?

This time Palentine’s Day was bigger than before – it was a whole week! We hosted stalls across UAL campuses where we got to speak to so many wonderful students. Thank you to everyone who came to see us, grab some freebies and pick our brains on all things Arts SU.

As you may know, we’re committed to delivering better services for students and learning from past activities. If you came to the main event or just saw us at the stalls, we’d find your thoughts really valuable. Help us deliver a better Palentine’s next year

Students who attended the main event at the LCC Darkroom Bar enjoyed friendship bracelet making, plant pot paint, crochet tutorials and more!

Whether you just dropped by or stayed for the whole event, we loved seeing you relax into crafts and conversations.

The chance to have a ‘blind date with a book’ (or a DVD) was kindly sponsored by colleagues from LCC’s Library Services.

It’s not too late!

If you missed us during our Palentine’s festivities or simply want more, we’re excited to tell you about our Buddy Up! initiative (originally called ‘The Companionship Scheme’).

It’s pretty simple: send us a few details and we’ll match you up with a new friend at UAL.

We also have our Buddy channels on Microsoft Teams where you can chat, share and network with other UAL students who self-identify as belonging to the same community as you.

You can sign up to both or either of these initiatives here

The SU Advice Service also offer support and guidance on UAL procedures including extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct, appeals. Pop us an email at advice@su.arts.ac.uk or book an appointment with one of our advisers at this link
