Hiya, we are the UAL Badminton Club! We are an open and welcoming club, and we cater for all abilities, from absolute beginners to more experienced players. After this pandemic we are all so excited to get back on the court again!!

Our Sports Offer

Our club welcomes all abilitites and are open to enjoy badminton with everyone, alongside we provide both competitive and recreational sport opportunities. Our Mixed team compete in LUSL. We also arrange friendly matches outside of our competitive sports offer.

Training

We offer recreational training session every Tuesday , at Lilian Baylis Technology School. We provide rackets for those who need one and cater for shuttles for everyone. Aside to training, we hold multiple social events and activities throughout the academic year.

Location

LILIAN BAYLIS TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL, Vauxhall SE11 5QY (5-10mins walk from Vauxhall station)

WHAT TO BRING:

- Suitable sports trainers (indoor if possible!)

- Badminton racket*

- Water bottle

- Good sportsmanship and basic badminton etiquette

*If you have your own racket, please do bring it! If not, we have some spares that you can borrow during the session for free, but do be wary that this will be on a first come first serve basis and you may have to share.
